Herd of the Void - RootJam 2024

In the tranquil clearings of the forest, sheep graze peacefully. Little do they know that trouble is brewing, and they will soon be answering the Void's call.

As the Herd of the Void, you play as a herd of weak and unassuming Sheep that have become hypnotised by the Void. Or perhaps you play as the Void, manipulating your sheep minions? That's up to your interpretation!

As the Herd, your goal is to sacrifice Sheep at the Void Rift for points, sacrifice points for cards, and sacrifce cards for more Sheep! An endless cycle of profit! This faction has very strong card draw and recruitment ability, but at the cost of points, so be careful how you invest.

This faction also promotes tabletalk, deals, and bluffing, as the control over the rift of the Void can change every turn. As there are two fake locations of the rift, nobody but The Herd and the faction who summoned the rift can be certain where is safe.
